ALPACA : Considered one of the finest yarns in the world, Alpaca fiber is stronger and several times warmer than sheep wool and it is incredibly soft. The fiber is semi-hollow, making it very lightweight while possessing thermal warmth far superior to other natural fibers.
Alpaca (Vicugna pacos) is a domesticated species of South American camelid. It resembles a small llama in superficial appearance. Alpacas and llamas differ in that alpacas have straight ears and llamas have banana-shaped ears.
